The Exposure Triangle In Photography - Three Simple Steps

Taking any photograph can be simplified down into three easy steps!
When you expose an image, three things happen every time...
#1 - How Much (APERTURE)
#2 - How Long (SHUTTER SPEED)
#3 - How Sensitive (ISO)
You Have Control
+ You get to decide how much of the light you allow your camera to see (Aperture)
+ You decide how long your camera sees it (Shutter Speed)
+ You tell your sensor how sensitive to be to that light (ISO)
This Is As Simple As 1 - 2 - 3
After that, it's just a matter of practice!  The relationship between Aperture, Shutter Speed & ISO is referred to as THE EXPOSURE TRIANGLE.
The Exposure Triangle & Manual Mode
Photographers use the exposure triangle in their CAMERA SETTINGS. In order to control your aperture, shutter speed and ISO, put your camera in MANUAL MODE.  Through trial and error, you’ll develop confidence in your settings and take amazing photos.
